Update on our Motivational Posters

Earlier in the year we told you about our new project, producing motivational posters. Well we have been busy developing new posters and adding them to the range, so we thought that you might like to see how far we have got.

Remember, that they can be produced as posters, in a variety of sizes, as postcards, as 'greetings' cards, business cards, and vitually any type of clothing or merchandise you can think of.

Outdoor photoshoot for local church

On Friday last we went to a BBQ hosted by the local Anglican church community here in Spain, and did a photoshoot of the day for them.

New FLICKR Group hosting

We are pleased to announce that we are now hosting a Group on FLICKR dedicated to Church Marketing. You can find it at - www.flickr.com/groups/churchmarketing.

It is a group for all those people who have an interest in the marketing of churches & church activities.

The need for churches to market themselves, has probably never been greater that at the present time, and this Group will draw together church publicity officers, charities & commercial organisations alike.

Today has been very hot here in southern Spain, and I have been out taking some shots of our vine before it sheds all its leaves. The angle of the sun on the leaves this afternoon has been absolutely brilliant. Hope that you like this picture.

A new project - Botellas Españolas

Botellas Españolas is our latest project and is about photographing bottles for use by companies in advertising, promotion & digital media.

The idea was unashamedly copied from a similar project in the UK and which was featured on the Springwise website.

The difference between our project and the UK one is that whereas in the UK the idea is to photo the bottles on a pure white background and then cut them out for insertion elsewhere, we are going to add an additional feature that is about photographing the bottles in a series of different settings.

The project is new, exciting & developing in its range day by day, so if you have a bottle (or a jar) that needs photographing, then get in touch with us and we can talk the project through.

Childrens Portraiture

Sometimes everything seems to come together when you are taking a photo - the subject, the light, the 'pose'!.

This picture of Molly taken earlier this week seems to tick all those boxes.

What is FLICKR?

I have often been asked to explain what FLICKR is & what it does, and have been able to tell people that it a library of individual peoples pictures which they want to share with each other.

Well now I have come across a much simpler explanation in the form of a diagram!!

Now what could be simpler than that?!!!!

Examples of some of my commercial work

These images are from a number of projects undertaken by image & profile (my PR & Marketing company) for CUDECA a cancer care charity based in southern Spain.

They were designed to raise the profile of the charity & to launch - in the case of Furniture Matters - a new activity by the organisation.

Just a few photos to start off with

These two images are taken from a set shot in & around Iznajar in Spain during a recent visit to photograph a choir concert at a hotel just outside the village.

The post production work used Topaz Adjust 3 software.
